Games nowadays have such high production quality that games with low production quality have taken on their own charm. Indie games have been on the rise in terms of popularity in recent years, with a ton of different events that incentivize creating simple games in an incredibly tight timeframe. These games have to have something simple yet special to stand out. The Last Tango is one of these games.
To install The Last Tango, simply unzip the archive and run the executable.
This game was developed in 48 hours, and it shows. The graphics are pixelated and simple, with just enough clarity to not get you confused. The gameplay is very straightforward as well. You control a dancing superspy duo in the middle of the screen, and their controls are very clearly listed at the bottom.
As they're dancing, numerous foes will try to kill them, and you have to dance out of the way of their attacks and also kill them by seamlessly incorporating dance moves with your own gunshots. However, you have to take into account that they will only carry out your orders after they've finished their current dance move. If you're too off rhythm, they will likely dance themselves right into danger as your commands buffer.
The gameplay is, therefore, incredibly simple on paper but with just enough depth to be addicting for the brief runtime it has. This is a great showcase for how creative games can get with a time restraint on them. If any of that interests you, then you should give The Last Tango a download.
