Coming into the company and having your employee forgetting to punch your card is probably one of the worst nightmares for management, especially if you're a small business and you don't have that many managers. It introduces a hassle that you just simply shouldn't have to deal with.  Sure, you could just completely ignore it and chalk it up to the employee's fault so their pay gets docked, but there's a much simpler way of handling things. Introducing Virtual Timeclock Basic!

Virtual Timeclock Basic is, like many other things, something previously physical made digital. This acts as your punch clock and also helps you manage your employee's punching in as well. It lets you create, open and restore your employee database. I clicked on Explore Sample Database when I first booted it up, and it presented me with three sample employees. In case you're wondering, the basic version only supports up to three employees - only useful if you're a really, really small business. The trial version only supports 200 timecards, meaning that it will effectively only work for up to 66 days and a bit.

Two main icons control the time clock - employees click their own name and click start/stop work. This generates a report of the employee's total hours. Using this report, you can easily calculate a payroll based on that report. If you're in charge of a small business, I strongly recommend giving Virtual Timeclock Basic at least a shot. It could potentially save you so much more of a headache.
