When things go horribly, horribly wrong, clean-installing your Windows is the ultimate solution. Other times, some people simply want to start over whenever Microsoft ships a new Windows 10 because sometimes, these updates cause software compatibility issues and they just simply don't want to deal with that. However, finding the right ISO for the Windows version you wants is surprisingly annoying, which is where Windows ISO Downloader comes in.

Windows ISO Downloader does exactly what it says on the title - it helps you simplify the process of locating and downloading a Windows ISO. That's not the only thing it can do, but it's probably the thing you're downloading it for. Once you boot the program up, it will guide you step by step through how to locate your Windows ISO. There's a popup window that plays a rather lengthy ad, but you can easily ignore it by just clicking back onto the main window and muting it. 

The Windows OS's it offers are the same ones that Microsoft still supports - Windows 7 to 10. If you want something from before then, you'll need to look elsewhere. The left side of this program is a web wrapper that loads the official Microsoft download page as soon as you select the correct version. You can also choose between the 32-64 bit versions.

One thing of note is how you can donate some of your computer's idle resources to ensure the development of this tool and others. There's no indication what these resources are used for, so do this at your own risk. That said, it is optional, so there are little downsides to Windows ISO Downloader.
