Zamtalk is another free chat and IM messenger service that is competing in an already over saturated market, it seems to not know whether it wants to be an IM client or if it is a chat room service but the bad news is it doesn’t do either particularly well, not so much so that would put it above any of the other similar programs available a large part of this is down to the fact it has a very small community, logging in there were only around 1500 users online and when going through the chatrooms to try to find someone to talk to most were empty and deserted and that includes the adult section which is very rare for a chat client like this.
The Phillipines community however had quite a few members and the room had people actually talking who were very welcoming and friendly but I was at a disadvantage of not speaking Filipino so didn’t stick around for too long.
Zamtalk is not particularly useful to keep in touch with your friends as I could not find an easy way to invite friends using their email or social media names and it is difficult to use to make new ones as there just isn’t enough people using the service.
If you are looking for a chat and IM client that is more well-known and more popular then you would be better off trying Camfrog or Nimbuzz.
