The bosses in the original Mega man games are pretty interesting - each of them has a different gimmick, has their own personal power and have their own personalities despite not getting a single line of dialogue. So it shouldn't come as too big a surprise that they all actually have their own fans. One fan in particular decided to build a game trilogy starring these bosses instead of Mega Man, the second of which is called Mega Man: A Day in the Limelight 2.
To install Mega Man: A Day in the Limelight 2, simply run the installer and you're good to go.
To be completely clear about something, this game is made for Mega Man fans by Mega Man fans. Those who aren't already fans will probably be a lot more critical about it, but it's still a very fun game otherwise. Instead of the normal Mega Man's formula where you go to a boss, defeat them, and obtain their weapon, you instead defeat the boss and they'll join you. You'll be able to switch between player characters easily with the C and V key.
This may sound like functionally the same thing, but there's one big difference - each robot has their own strengths and weaknesses. For example, unlike Mega man, some robots have much larger hitboxes that makes it harder to navigate as them.
Overall, if you're a Mega Man fan, then you should really give Mega Man: A Day in the Limelight 2 a download. There's a ton of fun to be had here.
