Neon the Ninja (Patriarch boss fight) is a game you need to play at least once in your life, you play as a ninja fighting the Pope, I think I could finish the review there and you would still know this is worth playing but I’ll give you a few more reasons why you need to try this, the voice acting is great it seems straight from an upbeat cartoon and with lines like “please let me wear your hat and walk around Rome” from Neon the Ninja to the pope of course, there is so much to like about this.
This is only one fight of which there will eventually be eight against the world’s most vile leaders and surely it will be great.
The cartoony graphics are really cool and fun however there is a downside if you’re using a keyboard it’s very hard to control and can make it incredibly hard to put up a decent fight against the Pope but then I would expect he would be a resourceful opponent and the Pope is at an advantage of being able to throw lightning balls at you which if not avoided can take you out in one quick hit.
The game is a kind of simple battle mode and there is not much progression but it is so funny and enjoyable I would recommend to spend at least a few minutes just to see how tongue in cheek and great this game is and let’s not forget that it’s free!
Although not the easiest game in the world it’s certainly an original and courageous idea as long as you’re not easily offended you will enjoy this game a lot, not to say that there is any offensive content within it, it’s recommendable to everyone unless you are easily offended about anything to do with the Pope.
