Low budget indie games tend to be some of the most creative around, assuming they aren't just flipping assets poorly in Unity. Without the budget to create an epic, the creators instead need to focus on one unique feature to make their games stick out. From these restrictions come some truly inventive concepts. One of them is Out of Sight, which is a short game featuring an incredibly unique second-person perspective.
To play Out of Sight, simply run the executable after unzipping it to a folder.
This game has you following the adventures of a blind girl who has to escape from her kidnapper's house. She has the incredibly unique ability to see through the eyes of her teddy bear. This means that whenever she's carrying the teddy bear, the game is essentially a first-person game, but there are moments in the game where you're forced to put the teddy bear down to solve some puzzles. Thus, you're now staring at a character off in the distance that you are controlling, hence the second-person perspective.
There are some issues, of course. For instance, character animation is incredibly rigid and poor, with there being basically no midair animation and the character just keeps walking in midair as she falls. On top of that, what little voice acting there is is incredibly low quality.
All in all, if you want to play a game with an incredibly unique premise, then you should give Out of Sight a download.
