World of Warcraft was an absolute powerhouse in the gaming industry, singlehandedly defining the MMORPG genre for years to come. And just like any game that is an absolute powerhouse, it spawned countless imitators. Many of them are rote, with few original ideas and almost no shame in how it's structured. However, there are a few imitators that were worth playing - one of them is Runes of Magic.

The biggest thing with this game is that it was one of the first MMORPGs that featured a dual class system as well as instanced player housing. This game also has a lot more customization than most MMORPGs of its time, letting the player customize anything from height, foot size, chest width, and of course, breast size for the ladies. There's also a color wheel that provides nearly unlimited options for hair and skin color. There are also three races and ten available classes.

There is also a dual-class option when the player reaches Level 10. Technically, you can get all your skills to max level, but it'll take a ton of questing. You can also swap from your secondary to your primary class whenever you want and vice versa. A third class is also available to players upon reaching Level 20, but only two classes can be active at any given.

All in all, Runes of Magic is a very solid MMORPG.
