Your computer's start time is based off a number of things. Of course, the speed and health of your computer is an important factor - your computer won't be booting up fast if your CPU isn't up to par. However, there is also another crucial piece of the puzzle that people forget about a lot of the time - how many programs start up with your computer. If you have a ton of different programs on startup, it will naturally take a lot longer for your computer to get running. Windows 10 comes with a ton of programs that automatically startup by default. You need a special program to turn that off, such as Startup Sentinel.

To install Startup Sentinel, all you need to do is run the installer.

Once you boot it up, all the startup items are displayed along with location, name and command. The ones you don't need can be easily removed from the list while the ones you don't recognize or are malicious can be blocked from launch completely. 

You can also create a whitelist filled with programs that you trust and know for sure they don't contain any harmful elements. You can also launch them by clicking Run Now.

Logs can be opened in a Notepad window and saved to the hard drive as a txt file. On top of that, this program uses minimal CPU and memory, and it won't hinder your computer in any way.

Overall, Startup Sentinel is incredibly easy to use and does its job well.
