As you surf the web, use and remove programs, and install others, your computer will automatically slow down over time. That's because these all, no matter how thoroughly you think you were in removing their traces, will leave a permanent mark on your OS. The longer you use your computer, the more these marks will add up. You'll need specialized applications to keep your computer in good shape, and TweakPower is one of them.
The installation process has a ton of options, like whether or not to include a restore point or not, among many other things. Most of these options are on by default, and only experienced users should turn them off. On initial bootup, TweakPower will reveal that there are a ton of different tools that allow more complete management of your system. You'll be on the dashboard at first, which lets you see the general state of your computer. On the left, you'll see various tabs that are all incredibly important, such as Cleaning, Windows, System, HDD, Tools, Optimize, Smart Tuning, and Backup Center.
You can tweak each and every one of these operations to your liking. There are also options to set a maintenance schedule or create a restore point before each one of these operations, so none of the changes it puts on your computer will be permanent if you don't want it to. You can also take matters into your own hands and set up sessions to only target certain areas. Overall, TweakPower gives you all the tools you need to keep your computer in good shape.
