Warframe 1.0

Warframe is a futuristic fantasy third person MMO game which starts off with an action packed tutorial and doesn’t really let up from there.

The controls are intuitive even when using a keyboard, the gameplay and graphics are fantastic and it’s not a stretch to say this is (possibly) the best free game on the internet.

You play as one of the Tenno a race of ancient warriors who are at war with the Grineer a race of human clones and other groups of enemies appear as you get further in to the game.

During the introduction you are given and shown how to use your three weapons, a main weapon, side arm and melee weapon, these weapons can be modified and upgraded by using the in game credits and also for completing certain missions and quests. You also have abilities such as being able to jump huge gaps, wall running and sliding at high speed.

It's very hard not to love Warframe from the first tutorial level as it throws you right in to the action and every moment of it looks and plays great, and although there is plenty more of that ahead it's hard not to wish this wasn't just a story campaign as the shooting, fighting and parkour mechanics of the game are fantastic. 

Missions that you can take on are based across the planets of the solar system and also in a pocket dimension called The Void.

The title of the game (Warframe) comes from the armor suit that your Tenno wears and you can upgrade your Warframe by earning credits in-game or using platinum a premium currency which can be paid for using micro-transactions, it is also possible to trade certain items with other players in-game.

Between missions players rest in their own customizable ship and co-op missions with up to four other players, many of these are endless wave missions meaning that the player can continue them for as long as they would like to.

Although not particularly well received on its original release the developers have continued to improve it and Warframe is now one of the most popular MMO games available and we highly recommend that you play it....like right now!
