ASUS is one of the most well-known hardware developers out there. However, not many know that it has also created a fair amount of software to help support that software. It's released over 25 updates focusing on increasing the capabilities of its hardware while also trying to compete with MSI Afterburner. One of these programs is ASUS GPU Tweak.
The installation sequence for ASUS GPU Tweak is straightforward and barely needs user input. The main use for this program is for overclocking graphic cards, but it also comes with a ton of other features. But let's talk mostly about how effective the actual overclocking is. My stock clocking speed is 1253 MhZ. After boosting it, it managed to reach 1312 MhZ. This is without actual hardcore overclocking, mind you - this is just me using the basic booster. Other features it has is allowing you to Modify the GPU Clock according to the GPU Voltage or even modify the Memory Clock as well as the default Fan Speed. You can set the fan speed to be linked to the temperature, making sure that it only gets really loud when it's working similarly hard.
Be careful, though, as with all overclocking, it could potentially cause instabilities in your computer. Don't get so caught up in the overclocking process that you ruin your computer along the way. If you're comfortable with that kind of stuff, however, then ASUS GPU Tweak is the right program for you. It is still not quite as good as its competitor the MSI Afterburner, but not to the point where it's a wrong choice.
