Vehicular combat is one of the few realms that the MMORPGs have struggled to get in. While there have been many attempts, almost none have really taken off and most have been dead in the water. Unfortunately, some of them are truly fantastic - like Crossout. It isn't quite gone yet, but it doesn't have many players. It's a shame because it's a great game.

To install Crossout, you need to install Steam. Once you've done that, then you need to go to this link to download and play it.

As soon as you boot it up, you'll notice a Mad Max post-apocalyptic setting, which is fitting considering how important cars are to the Mad Max setting. The controls are simple enough, which is great because the game can get completely hectic and hard to keep track of. You'll have bullets, plasma cannons, rockets and pretty much anything else you can think of.

Once you've finished the tutorial with the sad piece of junk they give you, then you can build your own vehicle. This is the fun part. You need to make sure your guns are spread out and not blocking each other, which is something that can easily happen. You also need to protect the cabin, as if that's destroyed, you're dead. Finally, you need a car jack for if you get flipped over. Once that's done, you can go online and take on other players.

All in all, Crossout is a fantastic game but it has a low playerbase, which is unfortunate.
