There are a ton of uninstallers out there, many of which purport of removing every single trace of a program from your computer. Many of them are correct...technically. But how many developers have released a separate tool that specifically uninstalled their own products? A developer would know what each of their programs do specifically, right? Well, ESET Uninstaller does exactly that.
There is no installer to talk about when it comes to ESET Uninstaller. Simply run the exe file and you're good to go. The first thing you'll notice is the lack of an interface. That's because this is a command-line program. Its main function is to quickly run lines of codes and carry out its function while taking a tiny bit of resources. That doesn't mean that it's featureless, though. This program offers support for easy-to-configure settings so that even novices can use it despite appearances.
It's recommended that you start the computer in safe mode if you're planning to use this program. The main reason is that any command-line program taps into the very basic bits of an operating system, which can potentially cause some instabilities. For what it's worth, though, when I used it, there were no error dialogs or crashes. It did its job in a reasonable amount of time and did so while using very few resources like it was supposed to.
Overall, ESET Uninstaller is fantastic at its job and helps you uninstall ESET products quickly. If you ever needed to quickly uninstall ESET products, you should give this a download.
