Point and click games used to be all the craze until around the 2010s. Now, they're usually relegated to mid size productions or simple indie titles. The genre also proved incredibly popular among flash game creators, due to the relatively simple planning and programming that goes into such a game. Mateusz Skutnik is one of the best creators of the genre. However, he's been known to branch out occasionally, and he loves using his yearly series to experiment. That's how we got Where is 2010?
To play Where is 2010?, just run it with whatever SWF player you have.
The first thing you'll notice is that the art style is pretty much a perfect copy of the Daymare Town series, with an incredibly bleak and creepy atmosphere. It's as engaging and surreal as ever before.
You play as some kind of small, black, and fuzzy creature and navigate with arrow keys. Left and right will move you in the appropriate directions, and up will make him jump. The down arrow is used to interact with a variety of objects in the environment, and it's critical for puzzle solving. The game is also surprisingly open-ended, with you having to wander around a large area trying to find out how to progress.
All in all, if you're a fan of Skutnik's work, you should definitely give Where is 2010? a download. It's some fun, experimental stuff.
