Point and click games used to be all the craze until around the 2010s. Now, they're usually relegated to mid size productions or simple indie titles. The genre also proved incredibly popular among flash game creators, due to the relatively simple planning and programming that goes into such a game. Mateusz Skutnik is one of the best creators of the genre. However, he's been known to branch out occasionally, and he loves using his yearly series to experiment. That's how we got Where is 2012?
To play Where is 2012?, just run it with whatever SWF player you have.
This is the first entry in the Where is series that features totally original assets, and it features Skutnik's signature whimsical, creepy, and weird atmosphere. Gameplay-wise, its controls are pretty much a 1:1 copy of Where is 2010?. You use the left and right arrow keys to move around, the up arrow to jump, and the down arrow to interact with objects.
Like the other Where Is games, this one is actually incredibly short if you know what you're doing, clocking in at under half an hour if you're just focused on winning. However, I recommend you take it slow and just enjoy the unique atmosphere.
All in all, if you're a fan of Skutnik's work, you should definitely give Where is 2012? a download. It's some fun, experimental stuff.
