Microsoft reveals their new version of the Windows operating system with Windows 10 offering an array of new features and demanded upgrades to the operating system that the previous releases lacked or did not touch upon very well. This is the rough technical preview release of the operating system that you are able to test out for free. It is highly recommended that you are experienced with testing unfinished software and are comfortable troubleshooting issues with the Windows operating system before you consider downloading the release onto your PC. You should not use this as your main operating system, and should install this on a separate computer, separate hard drive, or a separate partition. If you are required any serial key, you can always use the default Windows 10 serial keys provided here.
In this technical preview, you get to test out an array of new features Microsoft plans to officially release in the official version of Windows 10. It is good to note that these features are not finished, and final touches and effects will most likely be added to these new features before the final release of the operating system. With that knowledge in mind, testing these new features and reporting the bugs you find within the technical preview to Microsoft will overall help improve the operating system for it's official release. Help find these bugs using your experience by downloading this technical preview.
These new features include the new start menu. This start menu is very similar to the start menu that you have gotten used to in older versions of Windows prior to Windows 8. On demand, Microsoft has brought a very similar version of the start menu back to the Windows 10 release to satisfy veteran and enterprise users of Windows that were not very satisfied by the new start menu interface added into Windows 8. Microsoft also has added virtual desktops to the mix of new features to help increase your productivity while using the operating system in the future. You are also able to use Modern UI applications cleanly on the desktop with the ability to use them in a window, or full screened, all from the new start menu. It seems Microsoft has been paying extra attention to the popular complaints with the Windows 8 release and have made the implementation of the Modern UI, as well as the transition between the Modern UI (new start menu) and the classic desktop interface a bit more connected and not so separated.
